Product Name: Trypsin-Chymotrypsin
Source:Procine pancreas.
Trypsin is extracted from the pancreas of cows, pigs, and sheep, purified, and then made into freeze-dried preparations. Easily soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents such as chloroform, ethanol, and ether. At pH 1.8, short-time boiling will hardly deactivate; heating in alkaline solution will denature and precipitate, Ca2+ has protective and activating effects, and the isoelectric point of trypsin is pH 10.1.
Characters:Trypsin-Chymotrypsin is a white or yellowish powder having proteolytic activity.

Function:It is widely used to treat kinds of inflammation, inflammatory edema, hematoma, postoperative adhesion, ulcer, thrombus and so on. It has effect on chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, gastrits, cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, otitis, keratitis, prostatitis, venous embolism and cerebral thrombosis. It is conducive to the growth of granulation tissue and therefore can accelerate the recovering of injuries. It can liquefy pus and necrotic tissue and depurate wounds.

Pharmacological action
Trypsin is an endopeptidase that selectively hydrolyzes arginine and lysine peptide chains and can hydrolyze natural proteins, denatured proteins, fibrin, and mucins into polypeptides or amino acids. Since the serum contains non-specific aprotinin, trypsin will not digest normal tissues, but can decompose sticky sputum, purulent sputum and other viscous secretions, and can promote the penetration of antibiotics and chemotherapeutic drugs into the lesion.
Indications
1. For empyema, hemothorax, surgical inflammation, ulcer, traumatic injury, local edema, hematoma, abscess, etc.
2. Used to dissolve sticky sputum and purulent sputum in respiratory diseases.
3. It is used to treat venomous snake bites. It has been tried to treat more than 800 patients with various types of venomous snake bites such as bamboo leaf green, silver ring snake, cobra, viper, etc., and they have all been cured.
