Alfacalcidol is a white crystal or crystalline powder, insoluble in water and hex-ane, but soluble in m-ethanol, absolute etha-nol, chloro-form, dichloro-methane, acetne or ether. Alfacalcidol is mostly used for calcium metabolism disorders caused by vitamin D metabolism disorders.
