1. Heat 900g hydrated creatine, 550ml concentrated hydrochlric acid and 150ml water for 24h. Hot filtration, the filtrate is cooled to 0-5°C in an ice bath, and 1L 28% amonia water is added. Stir under cooling to lower the temperature to 0°C, filter out the creatinine crystals, wash with amonia water until it does not contain chloride ions, then wash with cold methanol, and dry to obtain about 550g of creatinine.
2. Heat the hydrated creatine, concentrated hydrochlric acid and water, heat it and then cool it, add amonia water to filter out the creatinine crystals, and wash it to obtain pure creatinine.
